Eczema on the face - washing powder reactions

I have just been on holiday in the Canary Islands, and have returned with a bad attack of eczema on my eyes, face, neck and arms which are my prone areas. I am sure the heat hasn't helped, however I stuck with SPF30 suncream all week. I believe that the attack was started by a reaction to the starched sheets on the bed and the hotel towels, which were replaced each day. My eyes would be very swollen each morning.

To combat the attack I took 2 anti-hystamine tablets a day (just some hayfever ones) and before the flight home I found a refreshing face spritz (review to follow) which soothed the dryness and itching.

Since I got home I have been softening my skin with Diprobase and fighting the eczema with Fucibet to follow. 24 hours later it has stopped being irritating and is much calmer. The pictures were taken after the 3rd application of treatments so don't reflect the outburst at its worst, but you can still see the soreness, crinkles and redness on my eyelids, and the size of the area affected on my neck. I have decided, as a preventative measure, next time I stay in a hotel I will take my own bedsheets and towels.
